And that pic where you're wearing the black shawl, that looks dramatic and mysterious. I love it!!

-- Vincent.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1625093777073151860.post-24656344644219538682015-02-22T16:55:57.993-06:002015-02-22T16:55:57.993-06:00lol Caroline. I am looking forward to when the sequel to the Exotic Marigold Hotel comes out which should be soon. I'll now look for the one with Maclaine and Plummer as I love them both :)Rain Trueaxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07994628226501093880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1625093777073151860.post-2005710237323967302015-02-22T16:17:03.099-06:002015-02-22T16:17:03.099-06:00My husband and I watch "Fred and Elsa" l...My husband and I watch "Fred and Elsa" last night, starring Shirley Maclaine and Christopher Plummer. It's a romance between a 74 year old woman and an 80 year old man. Loved the photos of you. The one of you with your back to the camera looks dreamy, but the one of you in the same dress in front of the fireplace is sexy. Go, you!Caroline Clemmonshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14914658854159456335noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1625093777073151860.post-75286390635192845062015-02-22T14:52:55.071-06:002015-02-22T14:52:55.071-06:00Thank you all for adding your thoughts. I do believe late in life love can be as passionate and exciting as for the young. It's hard to see why it's not been more common in romance books because a lot of the readers are older. It's not that we want a romance as we age-- but it's that we could have it if we did :)Rain Trueaxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07994628226501093880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1625093777073151860.post-5985579527019812682015-02-22T13:50:01.763-06:002015-02-22T13:50:01.763-06:00Great post and I love your pictures. I remarried late for a second time. It lasted 9 years before it imploded, but I don't regret the happiness when we had it and was sorry it ended as it did. I still feel capable of loving although marriage no longer speaks to me. We do seriously need an overhaul of our cultural view of older people at any age.Celiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14485118642482033233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1625093777073151860.post-74291921590219140012015-02-22T08:13:10.794-06:002015-02-22T08:13:10.794-06:00Rain, thank you for the wonderful blog about senio...Rain, thank you for the wonderful blog about seniors falling in love. I love reading about couples in their 60's, 70's, and even 80's getting married. Love is not limited to an age! Now, he's my biggest supporter, an advisor on which sounds better and my partner--in every way. I am rolling into 67 and he is 82. We still travel a lot. What's more important is we laugh, hug and share affection every day. Vonnie Davis ~ Romance Authorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07360480832587538895noreply@blogger.com
